I know Cam2 (恆輝) in Wan Chai has stock for it. Marked price at $1400 is fair and close to Canon's RRP.

But as I'm only about to take a trip that may include snorkling (浮潛), I'm interested to hire one for a week instead of buying one.

So if King Sir wants one, you can get it from Cam2, then how about I hire it from you??

When I still had my G7, I tried AquaPac 膠袋 in some camera shop, but G7 has a lot of controls by dials (mode dial + multi-function dial+ISO dial), so the control obstructed by the plastic bag very difficult.

I would expect that it would be even more difficult for G10, as it has even more dials.

I do recall I read some article that has diving case for hire, and also DSLR and lens for hire too.

Anybody knows??

I only knew Diving Adventure provided a Sony DC+diving housing for hire and not sure any other shop can rent diving housing.

Just checked. A lot of diving case for rent, or diving case w/ DC for hire, but none for G10.

2nd preference is to rent a diving case for Canon IXUS 860 instead.
Case only : $417 for 8 days/7 nights
Case + DC : $625 for 8 days/7 nights

Or should I just borrow the Olympus waterproof DC for the job?? Really don't like the control, and the picture quality of Olympus DC though.

If HK$417 for a housing or $625 for DC+housing, I will buy a G10 housing at Canon CS HK$1430. 2-3 diving will break even.

I used OM 5050 before and change to G9 to dive now. OM problem is high noise but the color is very good. As I mentioned above, It is worth buy a G10 housing unless you only take one dive and then no more.
