牙膏當年開始要打入美國市場，因而才改名為Darlie。

Darkie一詞與倭寇無關，祇是鬼佬對黑人的輕蔑形容詞。


就如doggie、piggie(又作doggy、piggy)一樣。從前，亦曾出現過Honggie、Singgie等輕蔑形容詞。
