I am going to buy a DC, and I know many people bought A70. I think the size of A70 is a litter bit big for me, but it use AA batteries is the one that I want. Compare the A70, S400 has a smaller size, but more expensive than A70. If I bought a S400, I need to buy one more battery, that is extra money.

This question is perfer what u want? We didn't how much will offer for S400 in HK. (may be over $3800)
1.More manual function - A70
2. Small size - S400
3. Cheaper - A70
For my opion, first I want S400 too, but the sales price(2480) for A70 is great!! For beginner use A70 is better, we can learn more for photo. So I think I will change to bought the A70.
A70 + charger/battery + 256CF = $3200
S400 + battery + 256CF = may be over$4300
I like S400 but I not enough money to bought. S400 can share with my wife to use. She like cute size.

You are comparing different class DC ! A70 is a DC for someone who want more manual features while S400 is just a DC for someone who just want to press a button and take a great pictures ! For photo quality, S400 is even a bit better than S45 (From dcresource.com) !
