Do you have the problems that the edge is very soft and out of focus... or is it just mine?

I remembered someone had posted a picture taken by it before and it seems ok.......

this is the problem of this lens, just the quality problem, if you want a better quality for 5700 at wide angle, I think you better buy the original 0.8X wide lens for it made by Nikon..

Also are there any raynox users here, is there a difference when I switched on the wide angle adaptor settings in the menu when I use the wide lens?

don't do that, that function is designed for original 5700's wide adapter, not for the raynox , it will harm your lens

I always use infinity mode to take photos when using the wide adaptor, I wonder if this makes any difference to the softness of the pictures.

Is the original nikon 0.8x wide really no distortion, no soft edges and worth to buy? The price is not an issue but it is really the size and the weight that put me off.

the original wide lens for 5700 is very heavy and big.... it will make your lightweight 5700 into bulk and heavy :)

but the quality of the lens is good. also you have to consider the orig. wide lens only got 28mm, is it wide enough for u ?

Vip, 個wide adapter做得大一定有原因, nikon可以的話都會設計較細較輕既adapter, 等d人唔駛顧慮size, weight既問題.

個lens o甘大係可以吸多d光, 從而容許影像質素既提升.
任何專用adapter都係為某機特別設計, 完全配合其特性. 並不過那些可讓多種型號用既adapter可比的.
一些adapter可以做到更wide, 但係image quality就唔及原廠adapter.
兩者熟輕熟重, 好明顯吧?
