其實我本身想買Casio EX-Z3，貪佢夠細。不過行貨賣緊$3480，相差只係$100。而且IXUS 400厚EX-Z3唔係好多(大約5mm)，又有手動揀，重係大廠出品。雖然個Mon就細D...

旺角友誠商業中心十三樓(阿二無線電)買--$3580，跟機32M。不過我見到好多街舖都做緊$37XX-3900，跟機32M，再送多64M。

I using IXUS 400, the size is quite big when comparing with EX-z3, also the price is very expensive $3980. If give me a chance, i will choose CASIO Ex-z3, coz small. funny.... for snap shot

but Ex-z3 image quality not too good, and its function less than IXUS400 I think. Sure Z3 lighter and smaller, but its lens, i always think it will have deflect (somewhat like, a little bit out of range) and the focus will become poorer.

no-ray, what you thought was exactly my previous consideration! Just like you, I used much time to choose wheter to buy Z3 or IXUS400, I chosed IXUS 400 too. In fact what IXUS attracted me is its three mins movie recording (with sound), and it's better performance in dark environment. But the LCD is really small when compared with Z3. About the manual functions, I think if anyone care about this, they will not consider both of these two cameras, right!?

Depends on what you need ! If you want a super small DC for snap shoot, for sure Z3 is more suitable ! But for 100% sure if you want a better photo quality, IXUS400 is better ! The shutter for Z3 is only max for 1 second and for sure not good for night shoot ! And it don't have NR function too ! But of course the size and weight for IXUS400 is larger and heavier ! So depends on what you want !

size真係唔大，佢係目前400萬象中最細既機種，我可以放係腰包日日帶出街。手動雖然唔算多，但已經玩到好多野。以呢個價錢($3580)黎講，我已經很滿意，唔通要同G3比咩!

my friend have a ez3 and i'd play with it....

lcd is big but not as clear as cannon's 1.5" lcd. also it can't show a white color very well since the light from this lcd had a little bit yellow.

auto focusing is faster then my V3 but sometimes not accuracy.

need to hold the camera carefully since it is too thin and light weight (but its also an advantage).

picture reviews only have 4x. although it have a 2" lcd but still hard to check 'out focus' immediately.

I think Z3 is for someone who want to put it into their shirt's pocket or girl's purse ! I know size for IXUS 400 is also small, but it is a bit (not much) heavy to put it into the shirt ! So don't expect that Z3 can product superior photos but for sure it is acceptable for most users !
