反正我也只會曬3R,4R，
我將來通常也會買wide angle，
外閃就考慮先，

Canon G3:
優點:
相靚(大部份人咁講）
可將LCD反出來

最大缺點:
買多粒電太貴，要五百幾

C-5050ZOOM:
F1.8（比G3 F2.0大，但差少少姐）
用AA電，超平超方便
手感比G3好，及黑色型仔d

最大缺點:
LCD只能向上下調，無G3咁方便
比G3買成千蚊


各位對這兩部機怎看？
有什麼意見給我？

easy choice, go to the shop, ask for a demo, pick them up, and take a few shots on each one, check which response faster (AF speed and shutter lag) and then buy the one perform better lor.

additional considerations.

if you are an EOS user, then buy G3 as u can share the flashgun, if u are not, buy Olyumpus for the easy access of AA batteries, u won't know what will happen when you go out for a longer trip. so i don't trust v. much on the 4+ hr. battery life of G3 on test.

not to advertise on nikon, but if u plan to buy the wide accessory anyway in the future, why you kick out coolpix 5000? u will find it handy for landscape shoots rightaway and u don't have to carry so many accessories.

Normal AA battery that you can buy on the street is not very useful for DC. They cannot maintain a long usage. We will only use rechargeable Nimh battery on DC instead of those alkaline battery.

The battery of G3 is very good indeed. You can check many people's comment in the forum.

Do not think that using AA battery is very important in the process of choosing DC.

I agree with ninekit, Nikon's CP5000 is a very good wide angle DC.

Minolta's Dimage 7i or 7Hi are my suggestions to you if you will consider brands other than Canon and Nikon, becos only Dimage 7 series offers 28-200mm focal in consumer grade DC, and their CCD size is 2/3", which offer better quality 5M pics (in my opinion) than that from Olympus C5050 (CCD 1/1.8" only).
