Hi Lai37 ! I have the exact problem with you ! I am using the Sanyo Charger with 1850mah batteries ! My DC is F100. Every time after I charge my Sanyo batteries and plug into F100, it shows that it is only half full ! I have no idea why this happen ! And the crazy thing is that even I just leave it about a week and when I plug into the F100, it have red signal ! I have no idea why this happen and hope anyone can help me !

I am using Sayo2100 but it last really long. Better than I do expect, about 1.5x than using olympus 1800.

Even if I put it aside for 2-3 wks and still can use it for couple of days. (On & off 10-15 times in a day) Take about 30-40 pics

What kind of charger are you using ? Are you using Sanyo Charger ?

請問你的 Sanyo 2100 用了多少次？又或買了幾耐？是否新電？很重要的，請先講一下，因叉電池是有一定的壽命的。

使用充電池須知：
1. 新電池須要叉電放電（即使用）幾次後才會正常的充滿電（約８０％左右）。
2. 如新購的充電池完全未作充電，可以存放時間比較長（例如新電未售出時）
3. 如一經充電處理，存放或使用壽命正常使用約一年，一年後漸漸存量減少（充電不足，使用時間縮短）直至完全失效，此因內部的化學物料已產生化學變化（化學變化是不能還原的）

電池經叉電後不用，一星期電池內部自行放電約10％，然後繼續慢慢內部自行放電，兩星期後再用，都應還有電（除非電池已老化，本身已叉電不足），如不是你的 DC 大食，又或是你的 DC 的電池容量的正常指示是當一拍十餘張時己指示用了一半的紅燈（我以前的 QV2900 便是如此），但仍可影很多張，此仍未必說你的電池已不行，袛是叉電後又放了一兩期後才用的正常現象。如 DC 的電池容量指示紅燈所指示的是到了尾聲的警告點，這樣才算電池自行放電太快或不能充滿電，這都是代表電池已衰老了。

保養電池須知：
NiCD 每次叉電前都要放電（但現時已很少用 NiCD 了）
NiMH 叉放電約十次，最好來一次電池平衡調整，要化些少時間，每粒電池獨立來放電，簡單的可到鴨記的電子零件店，買一粒 0.6 ohm 5W（約 1600mAH ~ 2000mAH 的電池適用），連接單粒電池的兩端，放電約一小時（超過也可，單粒電池是不會 over discharge 的，幾粒電池串聯放電才會，呢ｄ是另一原理，在此不作多說），逐粒放完電後再完全充一次，再重覆一次逐粒放電，作過此電池平衡調整後（如 DC 用四粒的，便四粒為一組，如此類推），電池的壽命會比較耐用，一些充電不足的電池或可因此而回復正常。

又或彷照日前超人兄所教大家的 DIY，更加方便，可看到電池放完電沒有。請自行參考（袛看開頭教如何做的那段便可）

Thanks DeDe's information ! My Sanyo 1850mah and 2100 mah only used for about 4-5 months ! I have no idea why this happens ! Someone in this web said for Minolta F100, even it said the batteries is exhausted, the batteries can still used on other electronic appliances for a long time ! I think the problem may come out since every time the batteries are not totally used up ! That may cause the batteries life shorter ! I am thinking about a easy method to discharge the batteries, other than DeDe's method, can anyone suggest method to discharge the batteries ?

siuap，不用說，你的是正常的，是沒有問題的。

放電的其他放法就是用單粒電的電筒，用到佢冇電為此，但必定要單粒，如超過會可能弄壞其中一粒，因那粒先放完就被未放完那粒來作反向充電，會令另一粒較先放完電的電池壞掉，但此法所用時間較長。
