Please help. Which one is better? I know the body is more or less the same price. However, the lens of Nikon is more expensive. Besides, is Nikon D 100 not updated as Canon 10D. Since I have neither lens of Nikon nor Canon, I could start from the beginning. My main purpose of this camera is to take photo of my new born baby.

10D of course, in US you have to preorder!! 10D has more choices of lenses with amazing compatibilities!!
I tell you what 10D can also take Nikon lenses(manual), but D100 can't !!
10D has fast AF and you can shoot almost whole day long with just ONE battery.

I think u should consider something before conclusion:
1. 10D has AF problem in original canon lens with F stop larger then F4.5 e.g. f1.8-4, the F1.8 50mm and F2.8L 70-200mm also hv this problem. Fast AF hv no use when out focus....
2. 10D is not as sharp as D100 in the transmission area between 2 colour.

Thanks for your advice first. I also read the focus problem of 10D. However, would the len of Nikon better than Canon. Or put it this way, would the lens of Nikon be really expensive if I want to upgrade later.

不過以技術上
canon領先nikon不少
以普通沒接觸過的朋友說
小弟都會建議canon系統
(nikon機係比較"蝦人"既)

Sorry but what lens could S2 Pro used? Do we have to use Fiji lens??
