Every DC has its own characteric which is good for someone and may not be good to you.

Pls state clearly what you want most from your ideal DC, such as physical size, print out size, controls available on the DC etc so that people can help.

i want to find a DC for travel use, not so heavy, hope the battery would not use up very soon, (if it use 2A battery, that's would not be a problem) the print out size 4R-8R.

also i am still learning photograhic, so i want to have aperture/ shutter speed priority AE, and manual and so on.

as the short list of the DCs seem to be good, dont know how to choose, pls help !!

difficult question. I've just sold my Coolpix 4500 (4.0 mpixels) and bought a A70 (because 4500 is too slow to take pictures for kids). I've found A70 is faster than 4500 in all ways. But the weak point of A70 is quality of photos. Of course it is not fair to expect a 3 Mpixels of $2230 only close to a $4700 (when I bought it) Coolpix 4500. In fact, the quality of Coolpix 4500 is close to Canon G3. Hope this helps.
