除此之外 , 有無外接閃燈都好重要.

Nikon is better for hard photo as it has a sharp image. Also, macro is good.

All depend on your need.

You'll be surprised the Sony FD series using floppy disk as media had a big market share in taking product pic.
The benefit is that the mechandiser take the shots and bring the floppy to their PC to download and other merchandizer can use the same DC immediately.

All other DC need special memory card reader or direct connect the DC to a PC thus the other merchandiser may have to wait or the company need to buy one more DC.

The lighting setup is more important than the DC itself though.

If lighting equipment is not available than the DC should have a very good auto White Balance.

For taking commercial samples, macro function must be strong ! For cheap budget, consider Nikon Coolpix 2100 or 3100 !

i am using Nikon CP5700 for product shoot too. I originally have some metal products in my design, and after research and compare, i found that nikon have satisfactory performance in these kind of materials, and it has very good macro.

And now, i using it to take snap shot for layout instead of scanner.

Another reason is, it has 5M pixel, can add filter and lens. Go to see more photos sample is the better way for u too.

Remember, if you want to take photos of silver products, you must use film instead of DC.

For metalic or silvery product high end Sony is the best because its 14 bit depth gives a bit more detail in the bright area.

BUT

A HK$300 film camera is already better than the best DSLR cameras in this concern !
