個人心得！
用一至兩張鏡頭紙沾濕純酒精順時針由鏡中心轉圈向外抹，抹一次後就掉棄，因油積已溶在酒精?，多抹也沒有用。如是者重覆抹約三至四次後當鏡面還有小許酒精就用一至兩張鏡頭紙輕輕，輕輕地抹乾。不要乾抹頭。
！ 小心不要弄花鏡頭。

有時我用抹鏡頭水+紙抹，抹完乾o左反而有印，要用 lenspen 再擦，點解呢?

yes, i have real bad experience with lens liquid + lens paper.
the best way i have found is to use good quality goat-leather (also available in photo supply shop) to clean the lens.
very easy, just wipe the lens with clean bit of the leather, never use the same part of the leather again as it already pick up the dirt, rotate and find another clean part of the leather and wipe on the lens again gently gently. much better than lens liquid as the residual is very annoying, and lens paper will scratch the lens / coating (also don't agree to use alcohol).
Tell you one thing, the famous Leica dealer in HK, Tin Cheung, use the same way to clean their lens.

I also have bad experience with lens liquid before. In the years of OM1, one time I just scratch out some coating of my lens. The lens still take very good photo, from the 3R photo really cannot tell some lens coating have been scratched out.
But everytime I pick up the camera I just feel not alright in my mind, finally I spent $80 ask OM's service center to change the first element of my lens.
Later on I change to use Nikon's SLR and some one told me to use alcohol to clean the lens. I try to use alcohol and the result is very good. Therefore, I keep on use alcohol to clean my lens for years, so far nothing is wrong with my lens.
I agreed that it sounds not alright to use alcohol to clean the lens that is why I started with " 個人心得！" in my previous post。

ninekit, regarding the goat-leather you mentioned is it in beige colour like suede ? I bought several pieces many years ago, at that time I also heard that this can be used to clean the lens. However, so far I just cannot convince myself to use this to wipe on my lens.
Since you give so nice comments on this, I may try on this the other day. However, before I try I need to clarify the one that I have is the sameone you mentioned. Hope you don't mind to give me an answer.

hello ERICSAN hing,
yes, the goat-leather i've mentioned is beige or light brown in colour.
and yes b_kid hing, in theory, the cleaning effectiveness of used leather will be reduced a lot. so its adviced to cut the thing into smaller pieces and keep the unused piece very safe.
this is really the good of internet allow we to share these experiences. i had gone thr. a lot of pains in cleaning my lens before, and i believe i have badly scratched my coolpix 5000's front element by lens paper or microfibre clothes before i use the goat-leather.
among a bunch of my other friends who are all gangs using lens without protector, we all use the goat-leather and mouth-moist to clean our lens front elements.
In fact, we try to minimise the cleaning process, like myself, after normal use, i just use the air pump to blow off the dust and most of the time its already good enough as you are not going to touch the lens elements in normal use. but i will use normal glass clothes to thoroughly clean the outter bodies of the lens and the camera and then store them safely afterwards.

ninekit hing, thanks for your response to my question.
After I look thrugh your recent post, I think the goat-leather I have is no longer good for cleaning lens. Because usually I just use these to wrap up my lenses as protection material when I go out to take photographs, and these few pieces goat-leather have been washed many times in the washmachine.
I think I have to buy newones, do you have good place to suggest ?

no ar, in fact i also need to buy one when i come back to hk next time, i am currently begging my wife to borrow her tiny piece (for cleaning her pearl neckless) jar. but i presume big photo supply shop like wing shing / man shing should have them.
