is 5050z is better than V1 ???explain your answer pls

between the 2 , i vote for 5050z, reasons being,

1. brighter lens
2. use of AA batteries
3. RAW output format

2. use of AA batteries
3. RAW output format
4. 可使用 CF, SM, XD, MD 等多種記憶卡, 售價亦便宜得多
5. 比較欣賞 olympus 忠實自然的色彩表現
6. 準確的白平衡
7. 合理的介面, 按鈕設計,暢順的操作感
8. 成像銳利

當然 5050 也有不及 v1的地方
1. 只有 3x zoom, v1 有4x
2. v1 有全息減噪
3. 初步測試高反差場合紫邊應該比 5050 少

small : just small like a A70
zoom : 4x zoom
lens : carl zeiss lens,how good is that??try try la 紫邊?hard to found in v1
little noise : 全息減噪

of course,c5050 or v1 good?

Darn man Larry Lam!!!! you are really "gig" in this section!!!! =D but cool!!
But I agree with you. Overall, the 5050 is 95% better than V1, even I had been thinking about V1 before. But dpreview really made me to buy 5050 in few months ago, especially the comparison between 5050 and G3, it shows 5050 owns G3 like hell!!! But about V1, I am not attacking Sony Brand because I have a S85 and I still love it! F717, and F707 are good cameras. V1 was suppost to be a replacement of S85. I think everyone should agree. But it's still far away from the S Series. 1.5" LCD is like a crap!!!! The only 1.5" LCD camera considered is good is only Nikon 5700. The only thing now I don't like my 5050 is its appearance is UGLY!!! But it's superb!!!

do u know 5050 is a 5M DC, while G3 is a 4M DC?

I also go to dpreview very frequently and I've watched the reviews of 5050 and G3 also.

I can't see anything that 5050 is better than G3, other than resolution.
(5M should win 4M, isn't it?)

兩部都不買, 以這價錢, 不如買其他機, 這不代表它們不好, 只是質素只屬一般.O 記的畫質數來都只是一般, 但 functions 多. "論成像, 5050 肯定不及 cp5000.", 如買V1, I prefer to buy F717. Or try 750UZ ($3350), 用ED lens, 10X optical. D 相都OK 架. 本人的攝影雜誌 friend 試左機, 話不錯喎. 可能在750UZ 的畫質改進了.

其實, 請教下 Oldpear and Ricer 兄啦, 他們意見忠懇得多, 不像某君般死硬派及盲目, 可能某君連部機都未用過就給所謂的意見, 真的不敢苟同. 雖然, 本人都沒有長期用很多機種, 大多是曾經擁有, 5050 擁有了數天便賣給朋友, 但換了這麼多機 (F707, 5050, G2, G3, CP5700, CP4300, 602, D7 ,........) 結果買番 G2, 遲D 再買 B300 先.

(不必擔心减低晒sharpness 唔sharp，一樣夠sharp！) 另外如用Raw影及用PS output 一樣也很低noise
