小弟係新手所以有此一問，同埋影相時用RAW去記錄在4G咭上是否只有十幾張？感謝！

影raw,係方便後實,raw本身記錄晒所有原始資料,你可以之後先決定落實用咩野setting而唔會損害畫質,當然係唔包光圈快門iso啦。如果你影完raw再直出jpeg又好似失左個意義。raw一張我50d影,4gb都可以有大約170張。

但係聽人講用raw影相轉dpp直出效果會好d！？

而用jpeg影相轉dpp直出成像效果會冇咁好？！

你可以話係,又可以話唔係,睇你點睇。raw要用返canon個software dpp去執,咁之前講左raw係保留晒所有原始資料。舉例好似易講d,白平衡,有日光,陰影,陰天,鳥絲燈,...仲有色溫由2500k-10000k.影果陣,例如你揀左日光,如果你影jpeg,咁你再想要第個wb效果,你要再影,用raw就可以之後再揀,其他野都係咁。其實簡單講raw做到的修改,你都可以係個body度做到。你可以影之前set晒,or選舉之後再set。

IMHO RAW doesn't produce better pictures automatically while it does give you more flexibilities for post processing in DPP, Apple Aperture, Adobe Lightroom or <Insert your favorite tool here>. Absolutely the best strategy or goal is to get the most out of the camera settings when the picture is being taken with no or very little post processing needed.

With the added flexibility it does come with a cost such as 1) it takes up more room in the card and in your computer hard disk 2) it does require an extra step to covert RAW to jpeg. How about shooting in RAW+JPEG for best of both world? Sure but again it will take up even more space.

Just like many things in photography and in real life, sometime there is no "right" choice but a "best" choice given your needs or moment in time. For example some professional sport photographers may choose jpeg over RAW so they can simplify the work flow from taking the pictures (many of them when the moment is right and shooting like crazy with their 1D) to making them available to the web or to print shortly after.

For me I started with jpeg. Now I only do RAW and only convert selected images to jpeg for posting, printing or sending etc.

我覺得RAW 出o既相係好少少... 網上亦有唔少呢post 圖文並茂 ...
原因係相機直出個jpeg 唔係用最高quality (10)去出... 但係當然個差別唔聞相可以話睇唔出...
用raw 直出係唔係算後製... 其實數碼世界raw 出jpg 只係一個process... d 色sharpness 你o係機入面都set/改 到... picture style 又可以機身apply出 jpg... 咁又係唔係後製呢? 睇你點睇後製啦...
數碼攝影除o左光學... 仲有data+formula... formula d parameters 係可以adjust...

個動作係叫後制,
不過其實你可以當成除左光圈快門ISO之外,
你將其他係機可以做既Setting返到屋企先做,
影相時, 專注影個動作,
因為你直出JPG,其實只係將你影既RAW,
係機入面跟據你係機內做既setting去轉成JPG
如果SET錯左就係SET錯既JPG,
無得"上一步",
DPP既後制有曝光,色溫,去NOISE,銳利,對比,飽和等等,
都可以係機入面搵到,
當然都有D野係機入面無,
例如除塵

新一代的相機，如1d3、40d、之後，RAW是14 BIT的，比JPG的12 BIT靚好多，想拍攝提高層次，影RAW是不二之選。

JPG是一個壓縮檔,每當修改一次破壞一次,如果拍攝曝光準確用JPG就好了
