I'm going to buy 7D. I have 17-40 and 50 1.8. I'm think to buy
1) 15-85 kit
2) 24-105

Any suggestion?

15-85 呢支鏡黑角好嚴重 is wrong, you can correct it with P.I.C. on 7D.

For other bodies with P.I.C. use 2.7.3 version of EOS Utilities to install the correction data to the body.

For other bodies without P.I.C. shoot in RAW and use DPP 3.7.2 can automatic correct it.

Conclusion the 黑角 problem actually is not a problem if you know how to resolve it. The optical quality of this lens is very good, close to 24-105 and it is more suitable for APS-C bodies better than 24-105. I have both 24-105 and 15-85, for I will use 24-105 on FF and 15-85 is for APS-C bodies.

15-85mm is equivalent to 24-136mm for APS-C camera such as 7D as its standard zoom lens. 24-105mm is standard zoom for FF camera such as 5DII.

我也很少把24-105用在7D,反而在5D2就非常好

要質素就用24-105啦...不過唔夠WIDE...影景要另加WIDE 鏡
15-85就夠WIDE...不過變型加紫邊...同埋平D囉...


我用緊7D + 24105
沒有WIDE 鏡都OK
