Where do you usually buy lenses?

Today I went to Mong Kok and noted the prices at MXX Shing is cheaper than "B" chain store and "B" chain store is cheaper than "F" chain store.

Staff's attitude at MXX Shing and "B" chain store are good whereas staff at "F" chain store suck. I said to that guy your lenses are the most expensive and can you do that same price as MXX Shing? His answer is that the quality of the lenses cannot be compared coz MXX Shing is selling lenses with defect !! How can he say something like that!? 20 years I already know the 3 Shing at Mong Kok, if they are selling defect lenses, how can they survive until today!?

Also when I quoted the price for 430EX ext flash, price at MXX Shing is $1990 and at "F' chain store is $2300 !!

The other thing is that in the olden days when you buy electrical appliances at F chain store, if you tell them someone is cheaper than his price, they will check and offer you that price.

BUT now they said they have no more such service !! So their prices are definitely not the cheapest in town !

Last year when I bought my 500D and Legria CAM at B chain store, when I told them the price at DCFxxxx is cheaper, they at once do the checking and offer me the price @ DCFxxxx price - $20. This is good service. Not sure this applies to lenses or not.
