I like my J1 a lot, excellent PQ of both pix/video, light and compact, lens interchangeable, easy operations....In addition, I am waiting for my FT1 to use my other Nikon lens. Hope Nikon will make lens of larger aperture available soon.

PQ: S95/100 is NOT comparable with J1 at all, especially at ISO higher than 400 and afterwards. That's why I will NOT use S100/P7100/LX5/X10....
J1 is a very nice balance of PQ/Weight/Size, of course to me, as you may have A different definition of "BALANCE".

雖然我用Nikon，但J1/V1真係唔掂，buffer儲相太慢，咁嘅格式，買奧林巴斯好過。如果一定要Nikon，我認為每部平一千元先合理。

想知好唔好，上show room自己試下，試過先決定都未遲，雙鏡kit set大約5.5K, 平定貴，見仁見智，有d人睇見部機既資料就話唔好，話唔試都知唔好，果d人唔使理佢，就算比部Nikon 同canon既頂級機佢地，都話乜唔好，又話不如等新機仲好，不過唔知佢地用緊邊d機種？

好多 C-Hing 一見 個 cmos size 就好火..
但 size 大小, 真的不是絕對....eg EPL 2
的 noise control 比起好多 DC 真的 失 望
各人需求不同 , 試過 幾次機 PQ 算唔錯
對我來說 平啲就會考慮....希望大家尊重別人的決定

size大小已是物理定律, 是絕對的
請不要用noise control 差的機種誤人子弟
建議樓主睇dcfever 既sample相, 如果你咁都頂得順咁既畫質就買啦
