For the photos posted, to be honest, the PQ is quite "塼". Should it be better than the PQ of a DC?

It's much better than that of a DC. I used to have LX5, and was thinking of X10 before I bought J1. I am glad to go with J1 finally and sold my LX5. For LX5, ISO above 200 is not acceptable to me, but J1 can go with around 800 with decent picture, which means you can enjoy faster shutter speed or smaller aperture. X10 has a bit bigger than LX5, but still not comparable to J1. Of course, you will feel disappointed if you compare J1 with APS-size DSRL.
As to some people who tended to be rude to others, I think the best strategy is to ignore. The forum here is for sharing, not for personal hard feelings, I think.

I think the comparisons on the Taiwanese website are a good try, but actually misleading, in that the lenses used for the test are all diiferent types (NEX was used with a prime lens), and that the sensors of these cameras are all in different size.
Not sure if it is right to say Apple is more delicious than Orange, haha, but of course you may say "I like apples more"...

好認同樓上ching觀點...
小弟是d7000用家, 近日想買部細機, 留意有關v1/j1既post意見都有幾大分歧....
個人認為v1最大賣點係原有nikon用家, 可加接環用自家鏡仍保留af, vr等功能..
除此, 高速對焦及連拍也很適合一般生活照.
而其他方面則沒有太大吸引力...
最緊要選購適合自己功能的相機...

試過兩次, 幾 ok, market 選擇很多....合較少人口味..
HS 400, 1200 很失望.. 如可.HS 120 or 240 會＂ OK啲
