I heard that using B+W MRC filter on wide angle lens will intensify the dark corners because the glass is too thick. Is it true?

The filter's glass thickness will not affect vignetting (or dark corners).
Only the frame of the filter will. That's why there are slim frame filters made for wide angle lenses to aviod corner 'fall-off'. I know at least B+W and Hoya make slim filters for this reason.
