It is nice to see Nikon finally re new their large aperture prime lens. I have been waiting for so long since the discontinuation of 28mm f1.4 and 18mm f2.8!

normally, I prefer the new lens were not G, as it can be use on some famous film body. or even FM2, 3. I wonder why cancelled the aperture ring. Without it, (G) the lens seems not smaller, not cheaper too much. It' s so convenient to have, also not much cost involved. and Nikon police is always look after the old body, that's why it keep the same mount until today, but no ring...
