I am now using 18-70 and 50 1.8 on my D300.
Mainly use to shoot my childs. I found 70 not tele enough and plan to travel shortly. I am thinking about the following lens, please advise:

1. Nikon 70-300VR
2. Nikon16-85VR
3. Tarom 18-570

If you have 18-70 already, then you should go for 70-300 VR. I have both Nikon 16-85 and 70-300 VR.. Both very good lens.

Nikon 16-85 is a great lens. I use it all the time and the range is very good, very convenient. Enjoy.
