I found some mold inside my AF len and so I bought to customer service for a clean up yesterday. But the lady there told me that my AF len is neither D-type nor G-type, they do not have any replacement parts for my AF len and refuse to clean up it. I was shocked and upset because my len is just over 10 years, and except the mold, everything is functioning well.

Any CHing has recent experience with asking customer service to repair AF len?

Is it true that Nikon HK no longer repair all non D non G AF len?

Don't laugh at me because I like this len very much.
