now is using D90 + 24mm 2.8 + 50mm 1.4D + 18-105 + 70-300 (might be upgrade FF after 2 yrs)

Two proposals:

1. Replace 24, 50 & 18-105 by 15-55
2. Replace 24 by 20mm Prime?

Replace 24 is because of not wide enough in DX. Thanks for yr suggestion!




* And one more Question is whether 17-55 better than 50.4 in term of quality?

17-55mm DX is a good choice : sharp and excellent picture. Both good for portrait and scene.

I just bought 17-55/2.8 today, not yet try if it is better than 35.2 .............
but i think it is a good len.

in terms of picture quality, of coz 50 1.4D is better than 17-55 2.8
if i were u, i would just replace the 24mm with 20mm,
so u can carry less and have no compromise when u upgrade to FF

think about 17-35 f/2.8 or 14 f/2.8 if you are intend to upgrade FF next year.

I'm using Nikon 17-35 f/2.8, Sigma 50 f/1.4 and Nikon 70-200 f/2.8 all are ready for full frame. I'm waiting FF drop below HKD 10k :-)
