Appreciated for any advises to set white balance by different environment and not by camera standard setting. Be specific, I want to adjust the white balance fit for the environment.

can you read the page 60 of the English menu?
1. use a white card or a gray card, this can be substituted by a white paper
2. press WB+rotate dail to get PRE
3. release WB, the PRE should flash
4. point to white card & press shutter
5. if success the word Good will be shown on LCD

(redo again if no good)

I got kit set lens and found so so.. What would you suggest for tele if I want to shoot something good for sports and indoor a bit dark.

I also thinking to buy flash and not sure SB600 or SB800 could within my budget. What is the cost of each?

I read below statement in magazine about Nikkor 50mm f1.8. Is that true? Can it be used with D80? I'm a D80 owner and interested to buy one for fun. Pls give me a tips........

50 1.8 of course can auto focus with D80, your kit lens 18-135 so so? really?

Too early to say my kit lens so so and need more practice to fully reveal its power. But I just want to try one cheap with F 1.8 and hope giving me better qaulity for indoor shooting.
