I will always choose the wider range if I'm going to bring only one lens for travelling.

Goto Mongkok, you can find almost everything there.
Some people, including myself would like to visit Ap Liu Street for dehumidifiers or other accessories.

C hing, too many things to carry.... with kids, no car, standard tripod will be hard.
