Canon 5DMarkII 用Nikon 鏡..?

小弟 has been using Nikon for 10 years, from F80, D70 to D300,
I think it's time to upgrade to FF now...

當然D700是首選, 但 想試試 Canon 5DMarkII (問friend 借...)

AF Zoom-Nikkor 70-200mm F2.8 D ED (old ver)
AF Zoom-Nikkor 24-85mm f/2.8-4D IF
Nikon AF Nikkor 35mm f/2D

C兄有沒有 adapter推薦?? ( I need to buy it myself)
有沒有function不能使用?
真的沒有機會用 autofocus?
有地方要注意嗎?

Technical Answer:
The adaptor cost min USD16 on eBay, and I have to set the aperture manually which is actually kind of fun and doesn't let you get away with letting the camera decide for me. And there's no autofocus of course. The adaptors tend to be very thin and hard to put on or take off. If you like the results you may want to get one for each lens and just leave them on the lenses (just remember to get some EOS EF rear lens caps, you won't be able to put the nikon ones back on with the adaptor there!)

If you have a newer lens that expects the camera to tell it what aperture to shoot at electronically, then you would need a very specific adaptor that preserves the communication between the camera and the lens, and translates the "nikon" protocol to the "canon" protocol. never heard of such a thing but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

5DII使用非Cannon鏡頭時，必須手動對焦點
早期Nikon的Auto部分鏡頭屁股有凸出一根，要剪斷才能轉接上Canon EF mount，
還有AIS 50/1.2也有一樣的問題，
其餘Nikon鏡頭都可以轉接，G鏡頭也有轉接環可控制光圈，但是這種轉接環太貴，
Nikon D鏡頭看起來轉接都沒問題，除了G鏡頭轉接後控制光圈不太方便，
轉接環要多買幾個，不用每次換鏡頭就要拆轉接環

N鏡轉接應該是無太大的問題(有聽過少數AIS鏡尾連桿太凸會打到, 但那只是少數)
轉接的穩固性... 應該看你買哪種轉接環, 這與機身或鏡頭比較沒啥關連
還有G鏡就別轉接了, 沒光圈環用起來很痛苦的
轉接環如果是買沒晶片的, 對焦只能靠眼睛, 這點很重要, 眼睛不好的... 請再三考慮
測光是沒問題, 但沒有AF只能MF, 更別說什麼VR了
說真的... 其實能不轉接最好不要轉接, 除非你有巨大的怨念

If you really want to test the function of 5D mark 2, the best way is to borrow some canon lens from your friend too......

Just one thing, I could never find the functions easily on a Canon DSLR.

Not to mention the disadvantages of using N lenses on C system, Nikon designs the dials and commands from SLR. That's why you can find ISO, WB, shooting mode, aperture/shutter dials easily. Try and find those settings on a Canon, you would be frustrated.

Moreover, I do not find any advantage of 5DMk2 over D700. (I knew at least 2 immediate friends who changed from C to N (and changing the whole system and lenses). One was from 5D1 to D700, other is 1D to D3.

IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF OLD NIKON LENS THAN I THINK YOU BUY D700 BETTER
BUT FEELING IS NOT UPDATE

IF YOU REALLY WANT TO USE 5D2 BUY CANON L LENS IS BETTER THAN A LOT OF OLD NIKON LENS

5D2 SHUTTER FEELING IS NOT GOOD AS D700
BUT D700 FLASH CONTROLL AND WHITE BALANCE NOT AS GOOD AS 5D2

BOTH A GOOD CONSOLE
