Money can buy you great tools, but can't buy you good photo and techniques.

If you pay that amount of $$ to buy such a great equipment, why don't you spend some time on going through the user handbook? If you buy that in HK, i guess it should comes with a Chinese & English version ...

Don't meant to be mean and being not helpful, but such a simple question can easily solve by 5 mins on going through the handbook.


Suggest a better learning process for you:

What about you do some little homework by going through the handbook first, if you are confused, let us know what you got stuck with and post you question here again. I think every bro are more than happy to give you a hand here. Also you will be benefit more after you doing this.

You will find similar feedback from international forums as well.

These days, people don't bother to read anything printed. Manuals and user guides are just for old farts like me. Answers for questions have to be found (preferably spontaneously) from the "net". I have seen some didn't know how to post a courteous question and some just didn't even know how to ask the right questions. The Internet is a great advance in humanity but it also created a generation rich in piecemeal information but totally lost in the full picture.

To supplement with pky's comment, I would still like to emphasize that it is only true for "HKGenY and beyond". People in other countries developed good habits and really make good use of internet resources.

Geez .... I was living in HK for during 80s', GenX not even begin >.< I am one of those old tarts that go for internet and reading materials.

I am not trying to be criticise for the younger generation in HK, but the way they are approaching a "problem" is so different now.

I don't see any reason why someone will ask that question on an open forum when the question is clearly demonstrate in the user handbook. I don't see how hard it could be to flip to the index page to find out "Wireless Flash" ...

I guess someone who can ask similar question must have done some research on the internet before they buy the flash. They can go straight to the top end model immediately. I agree this might be good.

But when it's comes to using equipment after the maybe impulse purchase, no effort wanna use on going through the handbook ... comon' it just the most basic source of information and problem will be solve immediately ...

I really couldn't stand this.

Good thing is I only see this irregularly in international forums, but this always appear in HK. I guess there are some catch up to be done by the younger generation in HK in order to catch up with the world.

Again, I am not to be mean or not being helpful, but I guess the OP need to do more homework for his own benefit in longer term.
