I have one too. Still using it. Can't find any reason to sell it out and buy the 24-70 f2.8. not sure how much better can I get...

so, how it perform when compare with 24-70 f/2.8 ? I find Nikon at f/2.8 grading are quite similar.
I don't think it is worth to pay 3 times more to buy AFS. Or to replace 24-70 f/2.8, the new AFS 50mm f/1.4 is much worth than this.
Moreover, range in 24-70 is just stepping few steps for and backward. Not necessary to buy such expensive lens.
