24-70冇防手震,手持影夜景可能要用到iso 2500或以上先有絶對把握.而且下下用f2.8影景都唔多好.
如果靚夜景好緊要的話都係帶腳架吧.完全兩個層次.
否則買支16-35 f4 VR.有防手震用iso 800左右影會靚好多.

Another alternative is to use a small tripod. I saw one in DCFever which is very small but quite solid (strong enough to hold the D700). Problem is you have to put it on top of something cos it is not tall enough.

I strongly suggest you not bring tripod to Europe. You will be getting into lots of trouble as tripod is prohibited in lots of places.

Monopod is more practical if you really need the extra support.

D700 with 24-70 is a very good options and I find that I really don't need the tripod as an extra support.

我去過法國 & 德國, 如果要影夜境的話就一定要帶支腳去, 如果咪會後悔, 其實可以攞支無重既腳架去都可以, 始終你去到都唔會點開腳架用長鏡架啦!
