I have a D300s and 18-105 lens.
Any comments of any extra lens? I am thinking of getting a 70-300 VR

What's your purpose of getting an extra lens.
E.g. To show off your kit - LB6 is definitely your choice.

Baldrich168, first think of the purpose of the new lens. 70-300 on your D300 is 105-450. Do you usually shoot things this far? Actually your 18-105 covers quite a good range already. It will be silly to bring the 18-105 and 70-300 out together. You might as well sell your 18-105, get a wide angle plus a tele, this might serve you better. Hope this helps.
