Bookworm Ching, you don't know the background and come to the conclusion that I am lazy is quite unfair.

Please do not presume that everybody knows how to obtain the required information. Some people may not be aware that which website contains which kind of information.

One of the functions of the discussion forum is to let everybody a platform to discuss, to ask, to learn, to give advice, to give comments, to share expereience.

The discussion forum provides a very good platform to obtain advice and information from the Chings who readily have the information in hand.

Of course, we do have many means of obtaining information, from the official websites of the producer. We can also find information in the encyclopaedia, magazines, books, television, radio. We could also attending lectures, seminars. Should we must firstly try to find our required information from all these means before we come to the discussion forum to ask?

If it is the case, then we better ask DCfever to close this forum.

Sorry if you feel upset. What I mean is there are many Nikon lenses having golden ring. The list is very long (perhaps > 20 lenses!) and it is difficult to type a full list for you unfortunately.

It is good to learn and try - enjoy shooting.
