我有聽過淺色鏡身在陽光下受熱較少! 黑鏡容易晒熱!
至於對鏡本身表現有無影響就不得而知!
有說話CANON多用白鏡身是因為, CANON 在陽光下受熱對鏡本身表現有影響。
只是傳聞，莫要太認真。

黑色吸熱係真. 但係吸左又係唔係會影嚮成象就唔敢講, 就算有, 不出 1% 掛.

黑色吸熱，所以影遠景用白鏡成像較佳。

同理，影靚女人像用金鏡會笑容燦爛些，影麻甩佬人像就要用黃鏡，立即笑淫淫嘛！

灰鏡鏡片膠位容易老化,因為零售店mark海鮮價,長放櫃底.
我個朋友買完發現鏡內有黑點,認為灰塵,點知原來膠位老化,換回小黑.

really? The LB 5 (grey colour) story is terrible. I called the Nikon CS hotline, they said there's no difference between black and grey colour, and the price is the same...so I don't understand the retailer also trying to fool the customer by saying the lens is made of special material...and limited stock which support them to raise up the price more than $1,000 , that' is totally unacceptable!

Functionally, there is no difference but the appearance is totally different is the fact. If one do not find the color difference is worth $1000, it's their own valuation and their judgement call. For me, I wouldn't pay an extra $1000 for a grey lens, just because I do not find it goes with the black camera body at all. But afterall I think they got a point by marking at a higher price ... demand - supply. :)
