Shutter count is important when you purchase a second hand digital camera. With the advance of technology, a DSLR is able to take about 10 picture per second and many user did use this function to take photos on sports, birds, etc. As the life of the shutter is limited and you have to replae a new shutter at quite a big sum of money.
