When I read the news of another huge quarter loss of Sony, and then the Nex 7 ad on Yahoo! front page, I would like to say something:
Why Sony is so stupid? Their marketing team doesn't work with their operation. What is the point of putting mass public ad for a niche market item like Nex 7 (I think Nex 7 should target for a smaller group of Photo-phili, instead of a mass segment), especially when it is out of stock?
Those photo-pilli who are interested in Nex 7 should know what it is, and able to grab the news somewhere.
There are tones of examples customers ask about Sony 5n in Broadway/Foretress, salesperson replies out of stock, and they have no choice but turn into Panasonic/Olympus/Nikon?

做過生意會明白
無論產品係乜,就算品質差極,都不及冇貨賣咁慘淡
賣唔出可谷/減價,但連貨都冇得賣真只係冇計可施,唯有將存貨加價,sony有咁業績亦不足為奇,NEX無疑係已取盡先機,但呢D relative short product life cycle 的東西,要用家等貨,係risky,Samsung 就係咁搶到apple客

Then they should post the ad on Sina, Baidu whatever, but not Yahoo! HK
