I am using Canon with the Contax Carl Zeiss lens with MF. Usually, I take photos with my son. However, he is running very fast now and it is very hard for me to do MF. I love Carl Zeiss color & bokeh and consider to 轉會到 Sony A900. Could any Ching advice on this? Besides, AF 對焦快 & 準 enough? High ISO雜訊多? 配件不齊全 or hard to find/buy? Suitable for my case?

You are rigth, Carl Zeiss color and bokeh are different with others. But if you do not mind the high ISO noise, A900 is a very good camera.

Sony's Zeiss is a bit different from Contax Zeiss, you would find it. To answer your questions: accurate & fast focusing, ISO noise high after 800, enough accessories (depends on what you expect), traditional "Big" camera stores have enough stock in-hand anythime, suitable you case.

Your photos are very nice, color, exposure and model. I think Zeiss 24-70 mm the sharpness and color of skin should be better in A900.

On A900 the quality is better for sure, but I am afriad that it is not because of the lens; it is because of the technology advancement.

The new sensor on A900 is much saturated & the dynamic range is much much better than the 7D. I am sure that the camera body design are almost the same, the A900 is a pure traditional Minolta's design; but the Sony world famous image sensor is the best in this size!

Back to the question, I have to say the 24-70 is impressive; but I do not expect that it can do like an old days Carl Zeiss. It is the best series within the Sony lens products. This is what I had said:

Ching, I am a new player in photgrahy, I have never tried Minolta lens before. So that I can't make no comments. But I have Nikon 24-70mm f2.8 for Nikon D3, I like Ziess little better in color satuation.

I have made comment in A900 as well, it is one of the best camera in Sony series but still have long way to go to compete with Nikon and Canon top range models.

Depend on what kind of photo you like to shot. Sony has many accessories but little more expensive than N&C. If you just want to buy one lens first, 24-70 is a good chose.

I think I like 135/85 for taking photo of my son then 2470 for normal use

Sorry I have no idea in HK but A900 only RMB15800 in China (not water). Looks like cheaper than HK. Other than that all others are cheaper than China.
