I just bought a EP-1. and I do want to have a "zoom" lens, mostly for out door. My budget would be around $2000-4000, any suggestions? What brand will fit my EP1? also, I do want to get the flash, but what brand should I buy?
Any suggestions where I can get these stuffs in good price?

1.) which E-P1 kit set did you buy?
2.) why not using the standard Zuiko Zoom Lens?
3.) for Micro four third lens... so far there is only 6 lens (4 from Panasonic and 2 from Olympus), but I believe Olympus one is cheap anyway....
4.) are you planning to buy MF lens? if you do then either look into M42 or OM series lens
5.) for the flash... I will say Olympus 36R is good since is only around $1900 for a nice flash (and there is third party one if you want to get a cheaper one)

Hi, I have the 17mm f/2.8 Lens set.
2. I want to take some zoom pics during trip.
3. I want to get a zoom lens (w\light weight).
4. what is MF lens?
5. I have looked into the olympus flash, but do you have any other suggestions? b/c personally I don't really like the olympus flash looking.
But would I lose any function if I get the third party one?

I would say the panasonic 14-45m zoom lens is not bad and it's not very expensive as well. (small and light weight, but not as small as the Oly 14-42mm)
If u want even more flexibility and dun mind about the size and money, u may go for the panasonic 14-140m, i believe that one is also good for videos.

If u simply go for the look and easy to carry around, stick with the 17mm.

if you want zoom, just get 14-42 oly. smallest.

flash... i would like to get metz 28 af3 O for olympus... but seems very expensive if shipped from abroad. this one have TTL, i think = auto.
