C Hing, I am new to photography.
Many people recommend EVF.
Could someone please tell me what is the difference between the LCD monitor and EVF?

EVF = Electronic ViewFinder，簡單D講，即係將個LCD放入個viewfinder（觀景器）入面，而唔係光學反／直射而得到影像～～

So why is EVF better than the original LCD on my GF2?

My pov, 1. the "SLR feeling", 2. less interference by the light condition of environment, 3. less power consuming, 4. 形囉！ <--- which I heard from some CHING............

用手動鏡先用evf
唔係就唔駛嘥錢買

EVF has the same funcation of viewfinder of DSRL.
So you just need to know the strongpoint of DSRL's viewfinder.

strongpoints(compare with LCD monitor):
1_you can get real view via viewfinder。（clear and good color）.
2_when you use viewfinder,you can release your hands to use
more short key.(quick /interesting and professional)
