depends...我部 DC 啱 啱在 warranty 完之前壞咗, 雖然已經整好, 但如果再壞, 就trouble...because冇同部 DC 買延長保養...from 豐澤 or manufacturer.
下次買DC 一定買延長保養

Nikon 机的做法 :

如在豐澤延長保養期內(2-3yr)壞咗,
就先call 豐澤Service Hotline,
之後就可以到NIkon service centre了.

it depends on whether you will drop your camera

or

you will over-use it and make it out of order

if you unlikely to do both, then better get other kind of insurance, but I will recommend extended gurantee for DVD player, not sure what's wrong with the laser head or spinning disk device, why it can have a so--short-life
