Hi All,

I'm considering 70-300mm Canon lene. But there are two choices:

A) Canon EF 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 IS USM
~5,500, 630g, 58mm x 142.8mm

and

B) Canon EF 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 DO IS USM
~8900, 720g, 58mm x 99.9mm

There are great different on the price. Does it worth?

'DO' is a new technology so has a higher price. But IMO, all DO lenses are too expensive.

the "DO" version is shorter and look smarter.

I wonder will the quality justify $3000 !
