Canon 70-200mm 4.0f L vs Sigma 70-200mm 2.8f HSM
我想問大家 .. 俾大家揀 .. 會揀邊支呢 ?
Sigma成1kg重 .. 如果我加埋部canon 30d出街真係幾重下 .. 恆定光圈4同2.8 .. 差幾多呢 ?

While I have limited knowledge of the Sigma mentioned, I personally own the Canon 70-200mm f4L and I am nothing but impressed by it.

I have read rather mixed reviews of the Sigma while the Canon seems to recieve consistently good reviews, hence I believe the Canon is the safer choice.

Admittingly I do find myself wishing for that extra stop once in a while, but it is rare and so if weight is a concern, then I would go for the Canon.

Sigma is lightweighted, if you compare it with Canon 70-200/2.8 lenses. The optics is very good IMHO and obviously it's one stop faster than Canon f/4 lens.

Canon 70-200/4 has faster autofocus compared to Sigma (though Sigma is not slow.) And it is "Canon" and will have no compatibility problem ever. Certainly it is lightweighted. (I was surprised for its weight when I first picked it up.)

If I don't need a f/2.8 lens, I will choose Canon 70-200/4.
If I need a f/2.8 lens but with limited budget, I will choose Sigma 70-200/2.8.
If I need a f/2.8 lens but with sufficient budget, I will choose Canon 70-200/2.8 IS.

我買左 70-200 2.8L 因為我"需要" 2.8..
當然如果 2.8L 你唔合 budget, 咁 sigma 都值得支持的~
否則咪 4L 囉.... L 鏡色水及對比度係有保証的,
Sigma 2.8 色水好不好...我就唔知了.
