prosumer 用家想買部 DSLR for 七月尾去旅行用, budget $20k, 個人鐘意 canon 多d (可能多數 friend 都係 canon), 要 ok wide (28mm) 加風景人像, 去旅行最好一支鏡搞掂啦, 點配搭好 ler?

同d friend 傾過下, come up 有幾個 options:

1. 30D kit (17-85 IS)
- fit 晒, 又 below budget, 不過光圈唔係好大 jor wor, 支 kit lens 靚唔靚架? 仲有 budget, 可唔可以好d呀?

2. 30D body + 17-55 2.8 IS
- within budget, 2.8 光圈, 有 UD glass, 好似幾 fit wor, but friends suggest not to put too much money in APS size lens, 始終FF先係最終極 wor, 花 8xxx to buy a EF-S lens, 第時轉 FF camera 就徙晒... APS machine 真係咁短暫?

3. 30D body + 24-105 f4L IS
- L 鏡, should be good la, range is also ok, but not wide enough, and others said 24-105 has 黑角 when wide open in FF camera wor...

4. 5D body + EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM
- a bit out budget, but FF, quality must be better than 30D, but no built-in flash wor, troublesome for travelling...

5. Nikon D200 + 18-200 VR
- more pro feature than 30D and even 5D, and 18-200 VR-ED, good all-in-one lens, but NOISE...

點揀好呢? 仲有無第d options ah?

可以, 不過呢支已經係 budget 之選 lu wor, 因為 5D itself 已經 out-budget... 不過唔要呢支有咩 options ler?

同埋我都幾 buy 有 IS, 可能因為自己用緊有防震既 prosumer 機, 覺得好有用

+ Tamron 17-35 (now $1980)

如果要一支輕身的 tele zoom, (唔怕 out-不,) 就買埋支 EF 55-200mm, 呢支超 Sharp 又平.

不過睇 budget做人, 唔好買 5D 啦..

I thought of the same issue you are facing.
After researching for a week reading forums, I found out that
1. Of course Full Frame is better, but just compare the price of a 30d and 5d, approx. 12k price difference woh!
2. 30d is 1.6x, so for a kit lens 17-85 = 17x1.6= 28mm wide.
3. Think of other brands of lens: like sigma 10-22 F4.5-5.6, around 1.8k cheaper than the Canon 10-22.

Yes, I agreed that EFS is a restriction to a long term investment. But as for a new-hand like me (not sure whether you are or not), I do believe a 20k toy can surely satisfy my needs. & it's gotta be fun too.

You might also have to consider the following stuff:
Lens Hood, UV, Star-shape filters (for night scene), remote switch, prime lens (50mm F1.8 is $6XX, it's cheap for portrait shooting), Compact flash, ... just like Brother Roger Fedex said la...:P
Also, a long range shooting (but not for Travelling I guess, too heavy lu) 55-200 F4.5-5.6 II USM is a good deal for novice players.

我都係新仔黎咋... 睇黎20k budget 最好都係 30D kit la... 可能俾d review 毒得太緊要喇... 講到d kit lens, non-L lens, 好似好唔掂咁...

買30D Kit玩住先啦,唔駛咁心急話要一次過買晒20K既,買住套Kit玩住先,跟住有需要既時候,或者玩熟左部機,先再諗買其他野
