Hi All,

I would like to buy a DC for family use, especially take phot for my little baby. As you know baby always run very fast, please kindly comment which DC (small szie) is the best to capture the picture in the shortest times.

For the best result, I would suggest buying a DSLR like Nikon D40 which is user friendly, high photo quality, light (compared with other DSLR) and money for value (only around $4,300). But if you really want a simple, easy-to-use, hassle-free DC but with good quality photos for shooting baby, I would recommend Fuji Finepix F40fd (8 Mega Pixels with SD slot) or F31fd (6 Mega Pixels with xD slot).

As using Fuji exclusive Super CCD HR, the noise is very low even if using high ISO value. It can therefore take photos at a higher shuttle speed which reduces the chance of getting blurred pictures, especially good for moving objects and low-light condition without flash. The response time of the shuttle is quite fast with face-detection autofocus system, bad pictures caused by out-of-focus can be minimized.

Actually, I am now using a Fuji Finepix F11 (old version of F31fd) for taking family photos for my kid (3 years old), it produces very good pictures. I found that it took better pictures especially under low-light condition (e.g. in-door without flash), when compared with my friends’ DCs (around the same price). You really need a DSLR to beat it!
