新手一名，部署買400D,想風景、寵物及女朋友。對初?者如我，正頭痛買 kit set，定係買body 加鏡。加鏡的話買..A16好唔好呢?(or有其他見義呢)....另外有一個好白痴的問題..一般的DC機有X 光學變焦...咁DSLR會點計呢???

if you are new user, I perefer you buy the kit set first, then use the kit lens for more practice. Afterward you may know what kind of photo you are like to take then prepare to buy a better lens in future.

For DSLR, they usually use XX-XXmm instead of X optical zoom (also DSLR no digital zoom).

But you can convert the zoom by the longer mm over the shorter mm then it is the time of zoom.

For example: A16 17-50mm, that's mean 50mm over 17mm = around 2.9 time of zoom.
