小弟應該今個星期會買400D，咁多位師兄，以新手黎講買KIT好定係BODY再買鏡呢？如果只買BODY買咩鏡好呢？謝謝！

agree with c hing there, but also have a suggestion, if you are worried about hand shake problems, try the new EF-S 18-55 IS from canon, the price is not too deep into your pockets and its can be a good starting lens

I have the A16 myself, its a good lens overall but it have minor flare problems, its not so bad that would ruin your photos. and the large aperture does help with bokeh and dim lighting.

I personally would not suggest such range on a lens, yes it is conveinent, but the image quality is not as good as a short range len, and the image quality from a fixed range lens compared to it will be even more apparent.

The other thing I can tell you about these two lens is that you will find them difficult to use in normal occations if indoors even in wel lit rooms these lens due to their small aperture, will be hard to use to prevent handshake. that was the reason that I suggested the A16 due to its range and aperture.

If you are looking at those 2 lens, why not check out the new VC lens from Tamron (A20), it may be just what you need with its long range and the VC to compensate handshake, especially at ranges after 150.

I suggested these because I used the A16 and thought it was a quality lens for the price, and he asked about A18 & A14 after I suggested for him to look at the 2 new canon EF-S lens with IS, because I personally think that these 2 lens with the price and quality is a good choice, the price is not too high and being a canon len the quality cannot be too bad.

I suggested for him to get the body seperately was because he can look at places for the body to get a better price, that was what I did, I bought my A16 at wing shing with UV filter and memory card but my body at SKYphoto, also I thought he wanted to get something other then the kit lens because he asked about the A18 & A14, that was why I first suggested for him to get a lens from canon.

I used a sigma 70-300 borrowed from a collage, but found it hard to use if hand held outdoor or indoors, on a 1.6x body its impossible to hand held on the far end so I suggested the VC and EF-S IS.

And c hing, I did thought about the new kit of 400D but the price on that kit I is abit high, what do you think
