你好， 小弟為興趣想買我第一部DSLR，做了很多research， 鎖定了 D300 或 40D 二取其一， 但心大心細揀吾定， 希望能聼聼你們的意見。。。

吾知邊一部比較適合？

我對 D300 的感覺：
* spec 好勁， 很多空間卑我學習和進步，應該有排不用換機
* 太多功能其實有沒有需要?
* 手感好
* 對焦快， 我喜歡snap shoot 一流
* quality 真的好像比 Canon sharp
* lens 不夠 Canon 多
* 好像比較難用

我對40D的感覺：
* 比較簡單實際， 容易上手
* 手感好， 但都是D300 好o的
* 輕o的
* 平o的
* Canon 多 lens 玩

* 我知價錢有距離， 但我已預留budget。
* 身邊玩Ｎｉｋｏｎ，Ｃａｎｏｎ的朋友都有。
* 心目中買一支標凖ｌｅｎｓ+定焦．　Ｎｉｋｏｎ支１８－２００　好正！！

我估樓主心目中都揀了40D,但又怕唔夠d300 好

they r both fine cameras,
wht i learn the d300 are weather and dust prove, (although most ppl dont dare to use the d300 under the rainning day, but u never know whts happen nxt). this might save u lot of money one day :)
not sure if 40d got the same protection

* Canon 多 lens 玩, yes, which means u have to spend more, hehehe
but this is okey, after all, this is meaning to use the dslr.

*Ｎｉｋｏｎ支１８－２００　好正, agree...... and its cover most of the range also.

請預留budget給Flash, shutter繩, UV filters, CPL filter, lens hood, tripod, hard discs for storage and backup, etc. 你揀的不止是兩部機,而係兩個不同系統,除非你有錢,否則要想清楚!

D300 ---> D3
40D ---> 5D / 1Ds

DSLR 係無底深潭.......要有心理準備.....haha

In fact, D300 & 40D both are good camera!!
But my own comment is that D300 has a professonal look than 40D as I use the D300 now. ^_^ It feels so good & powerfull for any different situation. The result of photo is also good!!

If you have enough budget, my suggestion is as below:

D300+MB-D10+AF50mm F1.4+AF18-20mm+SB800 = about $24,500

我用緊CANON, 不過NIKON D300 有個靚MON, 太吸引, 唔MIND 呢點預留5000 賣技L鏡，咁影相樂趣又多好多。

老兄,你想影甚麼?主打風景建築物,你一定買Nikon D300。Nikor Sharp,變形小!
主打人物,體育,你一定買Canon 40D。點解:用Nikon 鏡影美女就吳多美'影豬扒就更豬扒!Nikon 鏡決點就太Sharp、太硬!
Canon 鏡就柔和自然啦!

personal like Canon 40D. If u can afford d300, I recommend think about Canon 5D. FF is a whole new world, body.

Think there really isn't a right or wrong answer and thanks for all your comments. I think Canon has a wider range of lens which is very attractive but at the end all the features and build quality of D300 had me decided to pick up the following:

D300
MB-D10
18-200
50, 1.4

It cost a total of roughly 23k and it truly is a monstor !!

Will not think of the amount I spent now and am going to enjoy it - happy photo shooting guys!!!

I will choose 40D. Up to now, it's still a hot topic, Canon or Nikon. (may also add Sony or Olympus sometimes) Sometimes it's quite difficult to choose. I am a budget buyer, so I will compare all stuffs, not just the camera body. The camera body just contributes a part of your budget. And you will revise your budget from time to time. I like the tele lens provided by Canon. I like the quality of photographs taken by Canon camera, more natural and comfortable. Anyway, I like this brand, Canon, rather than other brands.
It's a purely a personal choice. You like it, then you buy it.
