hi i recently bought the olympus c-8080 and tried to take some portrait pictures with 淺景深 effect. i tried to use the largest aperture (f 2.4) and stand very close to the object. however all the pictures i took have very clear background. what can i do to change it? thanks thanks.....

tomato, I agree with Philippe - 用最長焦距.搵個遠啲背景 could be a good way.

However, the specification of C-8080 may not be able to produce good 淺景深.

The tele-end of your camera is supposed to be 140mm. However, because of the CCD size, it is equivalent to somewhere 30mm-37mm (135 system).
