Rookie in DSLR, can anyone provide some tips on taking photos with D40X at pop concert ( i.e. at HK Exhibition Center Hall 3 and HK Colesium)? How about using P mode? What ISO, other properties I should set? I will use AF-S 70-300mm VR zoom lens. Many Thanks.

use ISO 800 or 3200. so you can have a faster shutter speed.
Use a tripod as well. do not depend on the VR that much.
