昨天買了這種鏡，本以為效果會是整張相也是柔化的，誰知在廣角時變成一點點柔化(鏡面上的不規則圓型全影下來)，我想問用這種鏡的技巧是怎樣？我試過一張zoom遠點，效果便好些，但影人像時怎辦？

Chi kin,

If you want the whole picture is soft even using wide angle lens, try using " Diffuser".
The depth of field of wide angle is very large espically when small aperture (large f/ number) is used. It is not surprised that the "spots" on the filter are clearly displaced on the photo.
IMO, softener or diffuser is suitable for taking photo under sunlight or using fill-in flash with lenses >50mm focal length. Wide angle lenses usually give strange result.

I think you bought the softer which have the spot on the surface of glass, right?
This is caused by the samll aperature.
usually such kind of softer should be used for F4 or lower, that is, to make less depth of view.
of couser the sport is not significant at tele becuase the spot was being enlarged to be expose.

It is better not to buy spot softer. Try Nikon or minolta Softer, which have the better result.

暫時我用大光圈，尚能解決這個問題。可能之前我試時用P mode，所以相機set了細光圈出來。
想問一下"Diffuser"和Softener有甚麼分別？我去永成買時，說要"柔焦鏡"，店員就給了"softener"給我，二者在功能、設計和價錢有何不同？

Diffuser is different from Softener.
Diffuser makes the light scattering, that is, the result is like a fog while the softener is make out-focus feel.
Some construction for softener likes oil spot one (like Hoya) and some are not (like Nikon, Carl zessis, Minolta).
Prices can be made from HK150~1000, depends on brands.

即是要柔化效果，softener不及diffuser，其中又以其他牌子比Hoya好。
那是說，要柔化效果，我的Hoya softener(B)是最差的吧？
