I have 2 DC, Canon S40 and Coolpix 5000
Once I did a test of the 2DC, i take a photo of a dim corner of my room with S40 and take a same photo with coolpix 5000. Both of them took with flash turn off and P mode. For S40, F2.8 and 1/8, but Coolpix need F2.8 and 1/2 to take the photo with same quality. Can anybody tell me why? I guess Coolpix should use shutter speed than faster than S40 with it's larger lens.
