宜家用緊500D + 18-200 KIT, 用左大半年
想入枝人像鏡黎玩下
就想話Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM / Sigma 50mm f1.4 EX DG HSM
兩枝有咩唔同?
除左SIZE同價錢差DD之外,有無其他唔同?
本身想入返原廠,但上網睇有人又話sigma仲好過原廠
USM 同 EX DG HSM其實係點解??
有無師兄有心水,麻煩比d意見小妹

Personally I prefer S50.4, but C50.4 also no problem

they are very different in color tone and sharpness, but again, if you never tried them, the difference is "meaningless" to you at all

USM, HSM -> Ultrasonc Motor for autofocus. In short, is very-fast autofocus if you don't want to drill into mechanics

EX -> topest series of lens in SIGMA, that's just a name with no meaning

DG -> lens for both APS-C and FF for SIGMA, and again, meaningless to you as well

50 f/1.8 覺得太玩具同太膠，上網聽人講話都好易爛，同埋唔想第時咁快換鏡，又無咁多錢，所以想買1.4

小弟用緊500D+C50.4
簡Canon機既原因係鐘意佢既色水, 用過Sigma鏡後覺得D Color Tone 唔鐘意 (有人鐘意佢鮮艷D), 所以買原廠.

S50.4 is a bit blurish, while C50.4 is a bit soft.

In terms of resolution/sharpness,
S50.4 is better for F1.4 to F2.8, while C50.4 is better on F2.8 afterwards.

Color tone (for the difference between S50.4 and C50.4) is a minor issue and PS can handle it with no problem, while the feeling of F1.4 cannot be reproduced (or much more difficult to do so).

So I finally choose S50.4 :D
