I hv 135L and here is my experience:
if hv 135L II, may need to go over 10k, i prefer to hv current one right?
Higher ISO (e.g. Over 3000) @ f2 can shoot @ HK @ night with safe shutter speed (over 1/200) already, why need a IS? ISO performance will be better and better in the future only, i don't think that it is essential for 135L with IS if used properly

CANON出名是色彩, 不是is. 2代出了可能也太貴.
不會是135 f1.4?
買是一個過程, 用是一種享受. 放手是使你回味.
zeiss 85f1.4也是貴一點點. 但也是直得的.

Jason兄, 眾所周知唔同焦距鏡頭都係有唔同嘅壓縮感, 各自亦都有各自最佳光圈值嘅PQ, 其實係唔可以作出比較嘅, 我都有135L, 覺得f5.6-f8範圍為佳, 以我個人用後感而言, 在主體距離鏡頭5米左右用f7.1最靚.

rankinelo C HING...和其他 C HING.....多謝你們意見....但如果用在500D上距離會不會好不容易控制......有C HING叫我買70-200 F4IS.....但系看過135L的照片真系中毒......本身有50.4 ......24-105.......定系買5D MARK 2 先.....?心大心細....

135/2 IS.....
If you know how much is 200/2 IS, then u will know that how worth is 135L now.
Can't imagine how much and how heavy if 135/2 IS....
i think HKD23000 and 2kg weight.

其實當明日 announce 有新 135，到正式開賣都要年尾。到貨源充足就要下年。買啦 ;)

If 500D, 135L can usually be used @ daytime only (bcox iso 3200 is not that good),
It needs time to master this lens, it is not easy to enjoy with it,
For general usage, SSWIS is much easier to use, but if u think and learn in deep, 135L can really replace SSWIS when u've played with it for sometime
I like it most when i go hiking with my friends, the close up distance will be vy good, and it can be used to take butterfly / flowers and outdoor protraits... SSWIS cannot give u F2 bokeh. If u enjoy outdoor leisure with hiking, 500D + 135L is excellent... Otherwise SSWIS maybe a better choice...
PS however, just think, it is vy seldom for u to use SSWIS indoor right? Why not use 24-105L for indoor instead? So even i hv SSWIS and 135L @ same time, SSWIS won't be my choice in all scenarios... haha
